Halloween

 

We have started to decorate the house for Halloween and I digged in my stamps to make a card for the challenge on the Simon Says Stamp challenge.

Pick and mix challenge on the Winnie and Walter blog :here are my elements from each category:

-colours: kraft, black, white and rust

-technique: heat embossing

-trend:watercolour

-theme: floral (the leave is from the W&W Big bold season sheet)

I am still playing with the challenges on the Winnie and Walter blog and came up with a card using the color combo blue/teal/green.

The next challenge on the Winnie and Walter blog is pinterest inspired. I used the same black and yellow color combo and also included circles to reproduced the cakes of the picture.

The second challenge posted on the Winnie and Walter blog was to use a stamp/die/stencil in a way that is different than originally intended. We usually stamp the sentiment only once on a card and  I simply decided to repeat the sentiment on my background. As it is a birthday card I chose the word "celebrate" form the Winnie and Walter Big Bold Seasons stamp sheet.

Le 2e challenge propose sur le blog Winnie et Walter était d'utiliser un tampon d'une manière détournée de son usage initial. J'ai donc repris le texte que j'ai tamponné à plusieurs reprises sur mon fond. Comme il s'agit d'une carte anniversaire, j'ai pris le mot "celebrate".

It was WCMD yesterday and I found some nice challenges on the Winnie and Walter blog. The first one was to create a CAS card. I started with a white card, added blue ink and stamping of course. (Big Bold seasons by Winnie and Walter)
