La suite de mon journal, en fait chaque année j'inclus mes notes concernant le potager. D'une part ça me permet d'avoir une base (ce que j'ai semé et à quelle date) et d'autre part de retenir ce qui a marché ou non pour l'année suivante avec en plus un plan du potager, mais ce sera pour un prochain post.

Basilic Thai Siam Queen

une nouvelle variété de basilic que j'ai semée cette année, il a une odeur très particulière et j'ai hate de l'utiliser dans ma cuisine exotique. Il y a encore pas mal d'expérimentation cette année au jardin: de l'exotique et des varieties anciennes. Et puis le bilan en fin de saison...Je prends pas mal de notes et photos et puis j'ai fait quelques intercalaires dans mon classeur pour regrouper les semences.

 

 

A new variety of basilica that I grow from seeds, it has a particular smell and I can't wait to use it in my exotic dishes. There is still a lot of experimentation in the garden: from exotic to traditional seeds. And at the end of the season I will review my success and failure. I keep notes and take pictures. Today I added separator sheets in my file to organize the seeds in alphabetical order.

Un petit mini dans lequel j'ai reutilisé quelques cartes créées dans un post precedent. J'ai également incorporé les tampons reçus de Paper Artsy (EEG10 et Words Plate 2)

A mini were I inserted some cards created in a previous post. I also used some stamps received from Paper Artsy (EEG10 and Words Plate 2)

 When I read Valerie Ouellet tutorial on the Faber Castell blog I wanted to try her technique with watercolor pencils and stencils. I used Art Grip 104, 163,166, 162 and gelatos to create my background. It is a new page to be included in my garden journal. There is only one page missing and the cover has not been made yet. My file is quite thick now with all my experience in the garden over the last 2 years. I have been keeping a vegetable garden for about 12-14 years now but I wanted to keep a record now and a trace of my lucky or unlucky experience in the garden. I love experimenting and try to grow exotic plant, which is now possible as we built last year a small greenhouse... It is also my contribution to Mou's green challenge on the Faber castell blog HERE.

De la patouille, du papier de soie, un stencil et bien entendu des tampons (Paper Artsy BackgroundPlate 1, Eclectica 2), de chouettes idées de réas postées par Penny sur le blog Paper Artsy

 I built my own background  with tissue paper, stencil s and stamps of course (Paper Artsy Background Plate 1 , Eclectica 2) there were  nice ideas posted by Penny on the Paper Artsy blog this week. I combined her tutos to make a separator in my garden file.

I still continue to make pages for my garden folder, the picture of the detail shows the true colors of my project with heat embossing powder by Wow (Vanilla white & Metallic Gold rich pale).

The idea of stamping on acetate with white staz-on is from Keren on the Paper Artsy blog. She posted last week great tutorials on the blog and I really enjoyed using material that I hadn't used for a long time.... fortunately the ink hadn't dried up.

I have just started a journal to keep all my experiences in the garden. I grow some vegetable for some years now and I think that in keeping track in a file will be helpful. This is the page of my second section where I will keep details of the varieties that are successful and that grow each year in the garden.
I was inspired by Liesbeth's tutorial with grunge paste and stencil, also used the tip of Darcy (but with neocolor II on my stamp)
