Sketch

Sarah is back with a new challenge on Inkurable Stampers and a new look of the blog. You can see the sketch here and create a stamped project before 31.8.2011. I have sewn a few pages together in order to have 12 pages as I wanted to have a planner for the next 12 months. The cover is made with watercolor paper, I love making my own paper and this is not an exception, I applied gesso, acrylic paint in different colors and ecoline (liquid watercolor). When dried I stamped around the border (usind a scrap of paper to mask the inside) with distress ink (broken china). I stamped "when" (stamp by catslife) and "?" on a separate scrap of paper and cut them out. "The "?" is part of a stamp by Infinimentscrap, I already used it previously in full (here), here I cut the letters separately. Each letter has an approximate height of 1-1,25cm. Then I doodle in blue with my zig calligraphy pen on a separate paper. Love it because depending on the angle you are writing you have either a thin or a thick line. I cut out my doodling leaving some white around for a highlight effect and added sewing on top.

Sarah est de retour avec un nouveau challenge sur le blog Inkurable stamper. Vous y trouverez le sketch. J'ai réalisé un petit carnet qui me sert de planning pour les 12 prochains mois. Les pages intérieures sont cousues ensembles et la couverture est réalisée sur du papier aquarelle avec du gesso, de l'acrylique et de l'écoline. Une fois sec, j'ai tamponné tout autour avec de l'encre distress broken china. J'ai tamponné le rond "when" sur un papier et détourré et le "?" fait partie du tampon Infinimentscrap que vous avez pu voir en entier sur ma carte ici. En voici une autre utilisation puisqu'on peut découper les lettres (elles font +/- 1 à 1,2 cm de haut). J'ai dessiné un zigzag avec les feutres calligraphy zig. J'adore parce qu'en en fonction de l'inclinaison on a soit un trait fin, soit un trait épais. Ensuite je l'ai découpé en laissant du blanc tout autour pour que ça ressorte mieux puis de la couture machine par-dessus.

Inkurable stampers-spots, dots and circles

I couldn't miss the challenge on Inkurable stampers...it is all about dots and I love dots. I made this card, the background is made with gesso, acrylic paint and watercolors. I stamped the bird with black versafine ink and the sentiment on a separate paper (stamp is by Infinimentscrap) and cut it out with decorative scissors. I added masking tape and stamped around the edges with different stamps. I was so glad to find these yummies cups and was inspired by their colors to make my card. Actually it is a present and I hope it will be appreciated.

Je ne pouvais pas rater le challenge Inkurable stampers...j'adore les pois. J'ai donc réalisé cette carte, le fond est fait avec du gesso, de la peinture acrylique et de l'aquarelle. J'ai tamponné l'oiseau à l'encre versafine ainsi que le texte sur un papier séparé (le tampon est Infinimentscrap) puis découpé avec des ciseaux décoratifs. J'ai ajouté du masking tape et tamponné les bords. J'étais trop contente de trouver ces délicieuses tasses et me suis inspirée de leur couleur pour faire ma carte. C'est un petit cadeau qui fera plaisir j'espère.

Inkurable stamper-three

...there are only a few days left before the end of the month, and the end of the challenge on Inkurable stampers.It is the 3rd anniversary of the blog, and it is all about the number 3 (included at the bottom), 3 colors (white, black, red), 3 stamps (frame by LG Brush, figures by Infinimentscrap, doodle by artjourney).

I made this to keep my "to do" list and included on each frame (stamped on a separate sheet of paper and cut out) the day of the week. Thanks to the tiny cloth pin, I can move the tasks of one day to the other or simply replace the paper with another one.

Inkurable stampers- bookmark

Je fais rarement de marque-pages, mais j'adore travailler ce format. C'est le thème de ce mois-ci sur le blog d'Inkurable stampers. Le fond est fait à partir de morceaux de papier scrap, de gesso et d'aquarelle. J'ai utilisé un bouchon pour tamponner les cercles avec de la peinture acrylique et utilisé le tampon "enjoy the journey" pour un effet distress. La citation est tamponnée et embossée à chaud pour ressortir (tampon Tim Holz). Le papillon est découpé et collé sur le fond.
I rarely make bookmarks, but I love the format. It is the theme of this month on the blog of Inkurable stampers. The background is made with scraps of scrapbooking paper, gesso and watercolor. I used a bottlecap to stamp circles with acrylic paint et I used the stamp "enjoy the journey" with distress ink for a distress look. The quote is stamped and heat embossed to pop out (stamp by Tim Holz). I cut out the butterfly and adhered it on my background

Inkurable stamper-golden birthday

A card made for the golden birthday challenge on Inkurable stampers. I torn out a page from a old book and adhered the pieces on my background. I added gesso randomly and when dried painted the backbround with watercolor. Then I stamped the card with a mini stamp from Paper Artsy. The square was stamped on a separate sheet of kraft and heat embossed with black powder, then cut out. I stamped 2 birds, the small one is heat embossed with gold embossing powder (but doesn't show well on the picture). The word from my sheet of clear stamps (Heidi Grace) reads "happy day" and I added "birth" to read "happy birthday". I finally stamped distressed stripes with a newly realeased stamp by Infinimentscrap. It is embossed with gold embossing powder as well.

Inkurable stampers-one layer

This card was made for the challenge on Inkurable stampers. I stamped first the text on a cream cardstock and covered this part with drawing gum to protect it from ink. I added torn pieces of masking tape around the edges and small drops of drawing gum. When the drawing gum was dried, I sprayed ink in green, antique linen and walnut, sponged the edges and around the masking tape. When dried, I removed the tape and rubbed the drawing gum, outlined the uncoloured part of the card with a black pen. I stamped the Xmas tree with versafine sepia and heat embossed stars with ivory embossing powder. (stamps: crafty individuals, see D's, studio g)

J'ai terminé la série des 24 arches gothiques dont les thèmes étaient proposé par Sarah et Fiona sur le blog Inkurable Stampers...d'ailleurs ça m'a aidé d'avoir à respecter une date limite (aujourd'hui en fait) pour finaliser ce projet. Vous pourrez retrouver toutes les arches du groupe sur flickr.
I completed all my 24 gothic arches! The bi-monthly themes were posted by Sarah and Fiona on the blog of Inkurable stampers...it was really helpful for me to have a deadline to finalize this project. You can see all the gothic arches made by members of the group on flickr.

Inkurable Stampers-Shabby Christmas

Pour continuer ma série de cartes, le challenge du mois Inkurable stamper.
My next card is inspired from the monthly challenge on Inkurable stamper.
I painted the page of an old book with acrylic paint (ivory) and glued it on my card. I added a scrap of paper at the bottom and used my sewing machine with a zigzag stich. The frame is cut out with the bigshot (nellies die cut) and I stamped the Xmas sock on a separate paper, cut it out and inked the edges. The next stamp (Infinimentscrap) I used is actually only one stamp, stamped on blue paper and on cream paper. I punched out a star with the snowman and glued the remaining text on top.
Une petite carte faite à partir d'une page d'un ancien livre recouverte de peinture acrylique. Le cadre est une découpe à la bigshot et j'ai tamponné la chaussette de Noël sur un papier séparé et encré les bords. Le tampon "Joyeuses Fêtes" est tamponné 2 fois et j'ai utilisé ma perfo étoile pour le bonhomme de neige et ajouté le reste du mot que j'avais tamponné sur un papier blanc cassé.

Inkurable stamper-sketch

I made this little house, inspired by the sketch on Inkurable stamper.

The backgound of all the pages is made with neocolor, masking tape, gesso and sewing. I bound all the pages to make a little house and added fibers a s a decoration. Material: stamps by prima, zettiology, purple onions, artemio, gaia, paper artsy, Teresa Collins, Stampers Anonymous & Infinimentscrap, embossing powder.

Gothic Arch-#10 Steampunk

Je ne suis pas très productive et un peu dépassée...enfin voici un tampon de la boutique Infinimentscrap que je n'avais pas encore utilisé et l'occasion de l'essayer puisqu'il tombait à point pour le thème "steampunk", bon je ne sais pas s'il y a une traduction mais l'idée c'est de combiner du métal, les grandes inventions...elle va aller rejoindre le groupe flickr ici.

Inkurable stampers-lavender & lime

Une combinaison de couleur lavande et citron pour le challenge de juillet sur Inkurable stampers. Je me suis inspirée des superbes réas de Alisa Burke ainsi que de son dernier tuto. Des ronds en acrylique vert sur du tissu puis par dessus des ronds découpés dans du tissu à pois lavande et le même tampon que j'ai utilisé 2 fois (la fleur en entier et le centre uniquement de la fleur). Un peu de couture libre pour réaliser cette petite pochette en tissu.

Lime and lavender combination for the challenge on Inkurable stampers. I was inspired by the fab work of Alisa Burke and her latest tutorial. Polka dots painted with green acrylic paint on fabric, circles cut out from lavender polka fabric and the same stamp I used twice on top of the green circles (the center of the bloom and the full bloom). I did some free motion to make this small fabric purse.

Inkurable Stampers-stars

I made an ATC for the monthly challenge on Inkurable stampers.
I glued tissue paper on an ATC-size cardstock and colored it with liquid watercolors (ecoline). When dried I applied acrylic paint (silver) on the raised ridges with my finger and heat embossed the stars with blue embossing powder. The tree (stamp by Infinimentscrap) is stamped with versafine and I added black stickles on the leaves. The words are typed with my old typewriter.
J'ai realisé une ATC pour le challenge sur le blog Inkurable stampers. Du papier de soie pour le fond teinté avec de l'aquarelle liquide (ecoline), de la peinture acrylique argentée appliquée au doigt et un tampon étoile embossé à chaud. Le tampon de l'arbre est un tampon Infinimentscrap tamponné à la versafine et sur lequel j'ai mis du stickle noir sur les feuilles.

I can show you now the mail art that I made for the challenge on Inkurable stampers.
I made the background with gesso and acrylic paint, the front opens up so I could include a short message inside.I also used red dotties fabric. I used stamps from different brands, some are heat embossed with ivory embossing powder
