Mixed Media

I created this tag with watercolor and stamped in the middle a circle. It does not show well on the picture but there is structural gel inside and I pressed down die plate to add dimension. I wanted to used different media (fabric, gel, wood...) and added embossing powder on the right (Wow Honey WJ02), the stamp is by Crafty Individuals  (CI-406)  and I only stamped part of it.

 The October challenge on the Mei Li Paperie blog, "Mei Li Inspired by... Challenge", is a picture this time. I created my background with watercolor and added wide brush strokes to feature the alignment  of umbrellas and  towels on the beach. I also included some circles drawn on a separate sheet of paper.

 

Le challenge d'octobre sur le blog Mei Li Paperie est une photo. J'ai créé mon fond avec de l'aquarelle et des traits avec un large pinceau pour reproduire le motif des parasols et des essuies sur la plage. J'ai également inclus des cercles dessinés et découpés.

When looking for inspiration I found this moodboard on the blog Scrap Around The World. I was inspired by the color combo as well as the chevron pattern on the 3rd picture.

 

 

 

Card

Another card, I used the same stamp in different ways, with white embossing powder and only with ink around the corer of my card. The star is embossed with gold embossing powder and I wanted to add a shining effect. I added some WOW Metallic Gold Sparkle and heated again.

Une nouvelle carte, en utilisant le meme tampon de manière différente, tout d'abord avec de la poudre à embosser blanche et autour de ma carte en encrant simplement. L'étoile est embossée à la poudre dorée et pour donner un petit coté brilliant j'ai mis un peu de poudre dorée brillante WOW et chauffé une seconde fois.

I still haven't printed the few pictures taken in Paris but the structure of my mini album is ready. The backgrounds are also ready, they only need to be decorated. I was inspired by the beautiful color combo on the Studio Tekturek blog and used the paper from the "sweet memories" collection. I even included the collection name on the cover lol...
