Artz de scrap-Playing Card

If you want to join the challenge on Artz de Scrap…it is here. This month's challenge is to alter Playing Cards and the theme is Childhood.
I decided to use a rhyme I learned at my English lessons a long time ago…as I was not quite sure of the lyrics I searched the net to check the lyrics and realized that the version I learned was shorter than the official one …The girl's template is from the Stampington website and I included 2 playing cards for the back and front cover of my accordion book.

Pour participer au challenge de Artz de Scrap… c'est ici. Ce-mois-ci, il faut altérer des cartes de jeu, thème l'enfance. J'ai utilisé une comptine que j'ai apprise à mon cours d'anglais il y a longtemps mais comme je n'étais plus tout à fait sûre des paroles j'ai fait une recherche sur le net et me suis rendue compte que le texte "officiel" et plus long …le modèle de la petite fille vient du site de Stampington et j'ai utilisé 2 cartes pour faire la couverture de mon livre accordéon.

Le voici terminé et relié à la BIA...il est très très épais et même en utilisant les plus grandes reliures de la BIA c'est tout juste.

I finally bound all the pages of my BF journal with the BIA...it is really thick and I had to use the largest o'wire of the BIA.

The cover of my journal based on this month's tutorial on artz de scrap. The pages inside are still blank but I should fill them shortly.

La couverture de mon journal inspiré du tuto sur artz de scrap. LEs pages à l'intérieur sont encore vierges mais je devrais les remplir prochainement.

Il y a une superbe réa à jacker sur Scrapjack...et d'aussi belles réas données en exemple par les membres de la DT. J'ai donc fait mon fond à partir d'acrylique, ruban de masquage, tampon (paper artsy)...en utilisant la technique de Manuela. Elle se trouve ici en video sur le blog du jardin Mixed Media.

There is a fab LO to jack on Scrapjack...and fab LO made by the members of the DT. I used acrylics, masking tape, stamps (paper artsy) to make my background...and followed the technique of Manuela. You can watch the video here on the blog of the Jardin Mixed MEdia.

Sur le forum ATC, Théalie a présenté un tuto pour réaliser une ATC à tiroirs...il se trouve également sur son blog ici. N'hésitez pas à aller y jeter un oeil. J'ai utilisé le thème en cours sur Wednesday Stamper.

Triple the sketch-sketch 65

I used the sketch posted on Triplethesketch to make a birthday card. On the first tag I should still add the number of years to celebrate!!! Should do it just before sending it out.

I used the emboss resist technique on the 3 tags and coloured them with distress ink.

Pour réaliser ma carte, je me suis inspirée du sketch sur le blog de Triplethesketch. Sur le premier tag je rajouterai encore le nombre d'années à fêter!!! Juste avant de l'envoyer. Pour les tags, j'ai utilisé la technique "emboss resist" et puis coloré avec les encres distress.

Material: PSX & hero arts stamps, distress mustard seed, broken china and peeled paint, paper by PAper & Co
