Dark to light (3)

Another technique to start with a dark background is to add different layers as on Nikki's fantastic card here. I started with black acrylic and added light blue watercolor + tissue paper and stamped image (At Home plate 4)

Two more bookmarks...Helen posted a tutorial . I do not have oxide inks, I used instead perlescent fluid acrylic for the splattering. (stamps Paper Artsy MN22, EEG10 and Wings plate 1)

I wanted to try Dounia's technique on the Paper Artsy blog. The colored background shows through the black acrylic, it is quite subtle but maybe I shouldn't have waited for the black paint to dry. Here is my combination: 1. brusho (green & blue) 2. black acrylic paint 3. diluted white acrylic paint on a stamp.
I added stamped image, heat embossed with white & black embossing powder.

Voici les 2 cartes pour le 6e défi à relever sur le blog Cartoscrap. Il s'agissait de réaliser une carte dont le fond est à base d'aquarelle.

Another card

I am still adding cards to my Summer project. I included acrylic paint, stencil (W&W Big Bang circle) and stamping (W&W The big, bold and seasons) on this one.

Un petit à relever sur le blog Zibuline: mettre du jaune, utiliser des pompons et insérer le mot heureux ou happy. Et voilà mon petit grigri terminé

 

Cartes

C'est le défi proposé sur le blog cartoscrap qui m'a amenée à realiser ces 2 cartes. Il fallait du texte en bandelette, une etiquette, de la transparence (du calque avec un die rond sur la 1ere et embossé à la poudre blanche sur la 2e) et puis un motif graphique (fleche, triangle)

Aujourd'hui une page réalisée avec les consignes proposées sur le blog Expression Hobby. J'ai repris le sketch, le mot "vacances" (dans mon titre), les 3 ronds, l'élément bois et le combo couleur  ainsi que le thème marin du moodboard.
Today I show you a new layout inspired by the challenge on the Expression Hobby blog. I followed the sketch and included the word "vacances", 3 circles, a wood embellishment and the color combo as well as the water on the moodboard.

Notebook

June was quiet on my blog, but I hope to be more productive in July. I show you my first project, a small notebook with the color combo posted on the rubberdance blog. I had to leave my comfort zone and use purple but finally I really like purple and yellow together. The stamp is by Rubberdance (Textured house)
